As you know, the enterprise, whose work is connected with heat-exchange equipment, must ensure its smooth and productive operation. For this purpose, it is important not only to follow all the rules of operation, but also to allocate a lot of money and effort for the maintenance of expensive equipment. Regular chemical cleaning of heat exchangers will help to reduce operating costs. So, steam and hot water boilers are cleaned using chemical reagents. This is a special means for flushing heat exchangers, the price of which is much lower than the amount required to repair the entire equipment in its sudden failure.
Why it is important to use a liquid for flushing heat exchangers
Water is an indispensable component in the operation of water-heating equipment. When it interacts with the plates, scale appears in the intertube space. This is a build-up of hard salts that significantly reduces heat transfer. In this situation, depending on the dirt load, the equipment should be flushed. In order to clean the internal surfaces for sure, a heat exchanger flushing agent should be used. The special chemical composition of the liquid will help to effectively clean the surface and internal channels from unnecessary accumulations such as:
- limescale,
- lime stone,
- carbonate formations,
- deposits of iron oxide and salts,
- grease and organic contaminants.
