OSM 204 is a liquid alkaline concentrate.
It removes oil, grease and biological contaminants and passivates surfaces. It is intended for chemical cleaning of heat exchange equipment, steam and hot water boilers. Suitable for all types of surfaces. It is recommended to passivate after acid washing.
OSM 204 is a special composition for washing away deposits of organic and inorganic nature, vegetable and mineral fats. These deposits create a deposit on the heat exchange surfaces in the form of solid or loose deposits, impede heat transfer, increase energy consumption, fuel consumption and reduce the efficiency of the system.
The highly effective components of the OSM 204 concentrate soften and disperse deposits and prevent them from settling elsewhere in the system at lower velocities.
After rinsing, the surfaces are covered with a dense protective film that provides further corrosion resistance.
Galvanized and aluminum surfaces should be cleaned under close control of the recommended pH level.
The working solution is prepared by diluting the OSM 204 concentrate with softened water or condensate in a special chemically resistant container. The cleaning solution is circulated for 2-24 hours. The recommended temperature of the cleaning solution is 35 to 50 °C.
The end of the rinsing time can be judged by the stabilization of the pH parameters or a drop in pressure. The system should be flushed until the water clarifies and the pH normalizes. Before discharging into the drainage system, comply with local regulations for pH and salt content (use dilution and/or acid neutralization).
