OSM 103 is a universal dispersant-based scale inhibitor. The product's active ingredients bind hardness ions, phosphates and iron complexes present in the feed water and prevent scale formation.
The product has the ability to neutralize carbon dioxide, which causes the least corrosion.
Due to the action of highly effective dispersants, OSM 103 increases the solubility of all salts accumulating in boiler water, turning them into a soft, concentrated sludge that can be easily removed during purges, stabilizes the sludge, preventing it from accumulating and sticking in places of insufficient circulation. Promotes the gradual washing away of existing scale during boiler operation. Helps to create a uniform protective magnetic film on the metal surface.
The dosage of the inhibitor depends on the quality of the feed water, the operating characteristics of the steam boiler, and the required pH, alkalinity, and phosphate levels in the boiler water. OSM 103 is a ready-to-use product, dosed in concentrated form using a dosing pump.
The recommended injection point is the suction of the feed pump, or the bottom of the feed tank or deaerator.
