SD 110 is a liquid corrosion inhibitor and residual oxygen binder.
It is used as a corrective treatment of steam boilers to protect all surfaces of the steam boiler and steam and condensate tract from oxygen corrosion, passivates heat transfer surfaces.
SD 110 is a polyamine-based organic anodic corrosion inhibitor. The active ingredients of the product quickly and completely bind residual oxygen from the feed path throughout the steam system.
SD 110 creates conditions for the formation and further maintenance of a passivation film on steel and copper surfaces. The active component of the product reacts with loose rust (Fe₃O₃) and promotes the formation of black dense magnetite (Fe₃O₄).
SD 110 is also a neutralizing amine and, evaporating with steam, neutralizes carbon dioxide during condensation. During processing, it does not increase the salt content, does not cause corrosion of copper-containing alloys, and does not affect ionic materials.
The dosage of the inhibitor depends on the quality of the water supplying the system, the operating characteristics of the steam boiler, and the amount of residual oxygen. SD 110 is a ready-to-use product, dosed in concentrated form using a dosing pump.
The recommended injection point is the suction of the feed pump; amination or phosphating lines can also be used for dosing. SD 110 is compatible with many boiler water treatment chemicals. The optimization of the dosing regime is carried out by the technical specialists of our service centers.
