It is used as a corrective treatment for steam boilers to protect all surfaces of the steam boiler and steam and condensate tract from oxygen corrosion and passivates heat transfer surfaces.

OSM 110 is compatible with many boiler water treatment chemicals. Consumption of the reagent for binding residual oxygen of 3-7 mg/l per 1 mg O2/l for passivation of surfaces is required from 50 to 150 mg/l.
The dosage of the inhibitor depends on the quality of the water supplying the system, the operating characteristics of the steam boiler, and the amount of residual oxygen. OSM 110 is a ready-to-use product, dosed in concentrated form using a dosing pump. The recommended injection point is the suction of the feed pump; amination or phosphating lines can also be used for dosing.
OSM 110 is compatible with many chemicals used for boiler water treatment. The consumption of the reagent for the binding of residual oxygen of 3-7 mg/L per 1 mg O2/L for surface passivation is required from 50 to 150 mg/L.
