SD 415 is an inhibitor used as an anti-scaling program for cooling system water treatment.
SD 415 is recommended for open circulating cooling and air conditioning systems. The product is most effective in the pH range from 7.5 to 9.0.
SD 415 is a concentrated liquid inhibitor based on acrylic acid copolymers and dispersants.
SD 415 is an effective inhibitor of CaCO₃, CaSO₃, BaSO₃ deposits, as well as Fe oxides, whose action is based on several mechanisms of deposit inhibition (complexation, dispersion, etc.).
It works by means of a double corrosion inhibition mechanism with rapid formation of a thin passivation film over the entire metal surface, and thus inhibits electrochemical corrosion processes. SD 415 is resistant to temperature and hydrolytic decomposition.
SD 415 is dosed in concentrated form or diluted with soft water using a metering pump in proportion to the amount of additional water. At the initial stage of dosing, it is necessary to administer a dose to saturate and passivate the system with the product. If the system has been previously contaminated with biological deposits, biological cleaning of the system is mandatory before the initial dose of SD 415 inhibitor is administered.
Corrosion and scale inhibition is carried out by maintaining the system, depending on the water, evaporation rate and stability indices. Control is carried out in the salt transport system. Compatible with many non-oxidizing biocides used for biological control in cooling systems.
