SD 410 is an inhibitor used as an anti-scale and anti-corrosion water treatment program for cooling systems.
SD 410 is recommended for open circulating cooling and air conditioning systems. The product is most effective in the pH range from 7.5 to 9.0.




SD 410 is a concentrated liquid inhibitor based on phosphonates, phosphonocarboxylates, polyacrylates and dispersants.
SD 410 is an effective inhibitor of CaCO₃, CaSO₃, BaSO₃ and Fe oxides, the action of which is based on several mechanisms of inhibition of deposits (complexation, dispersion, etc.).
It works by means of a double corrosion inhibition mechanism with the rapid formation of a thin passivation film over the entire metal surface, and thus inhibits electrochemical corrosion processes.
SD 410 is resistant to temperature and hydrolytic decomposition.


SD 410 is dosed concentrated or diluted with soft water using a dosing pump in proportion to the amount of additional water. In the initial dosing phase, a dose is required to saturate and passivate the system with the product. If the system has been previously contaminated with biological deposits, biological cleaning of the system is mandatory before the initial dose of SD 410 inhibitor is administered.
Corrosion and scale inhibition is achieved by maintaining the system, depending on the water, evaporation rate and stability indices. Control is carried out in the salt transport system. Compatible with many non-oxidizing biocides used for biological control in cooling systems.
