OSM 606 is a liquid alkaline concentrate. It perfectly softens and cleans organic deposits and biological films on membrane elements. It is intended for cleaning and removal of organic deposits, colloids, oils from various surfaces.
It is used for all types of membranes, ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis systems. The product is suitable for membrane systems producing drinking water and can be used in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
OSM 606 is an alkaline concentrate for the washing of organic deposits of colloidal, biological or oil nature. These contaminants gradually block the membranes and prevent filtration.
As a result, the pressure drop increases and the plant performance decreases, which can cause deformation and rupture of the membrane elements. The high-performance components of OSM 606 concentrate erode and soften deposits, followed by their gentle removal from surfaces.
It is recommended for periodic flushing of installations operating on raw water or with insufficient pretreatment.
The frequency of flushing depends on the operating mode and performance characteristics of the system. Indications of the need to flush the system are a decrease in productivity and/or an increase in pressure drop by more than 15%. To prepare the OSM 606 working solution, it is recommended to use permeate and a chemically resistant container. The pH of the cleaning solution should be at the level of 11.5 – 12.5.
If pH correction is necessary, use hydrochloric acid (HCl) or acid concentrate OSM 604. Circulate the cleaning solution for 2 – 24 hours, the temperature of the cleaning solution is 35-40 °C. It is compatible with many chemicals used for reverse osmosis systems. Optimization of the washing mode is carried out by technical specialists of our service centers.
