To ensure that the results of the water analysis performed for you reflect the quality of your water with maximum accuracy and reliability, it is very important to take a sample correctly, following the following rules:
- Collect the sample in a clean plastic container. Drinking or mineral water bottles can be used. Do not use containers for carbonated drinks, juice, beer, etc. The bottle should be thoroughly washed and rinsed 3-5 times with distilled water or the water to be sampled.
- The water should be allowed to run for at least 10-15 minutes at full pressure before sampling. This applies not only to the central water supply system, but also to wells and boreholes in which a pump is installed to supply water. If the well has not been used for a long time, it should be pumped for at least two days before sampling.
- If the sample is taken from a river or lake, it should be taken at the same depth as the water intake from the pump. In this case, it is necessary to prevent bottom sediments from entering the sample.
- In the case of a well, sampling is carried out from the middle part of the water column.
The customer is responsible for the correctness of the sample.
