Description of sampling

Description of sampling

Water samples are taken for analysis (both chemical and bacteriological) in accordance with the developed State Standards. Water samples can be taken throughout the year. However, open water sources should not be sampled during or immediately after precipitation, as well as during thaws and floods.

Results of analysis

To ensure that the results of the water analysis performed for you reflect the quality of your water with maximum accuracy and reliability, it is very important to take a sample correctly, following the following rules:

  • Collect the sample in a clean plastic container. Drinking or mineral water bottles can be used. Do not use containers for carbonated drinks, juice, beer, etc. The bottle should be thoroughly washed and rinsed 3-5 times with distilled water or the water to be sampled.
  • The water should be allowed to run for at least 10-15 minutes at full pressure before sampling. This applies not only to the central water supply system, but also to wells and boreholes in which a pump is installed to supply water. If the well has not been used for a long time, it should be pumped for at least two days before sampling.
  • If the sample is taken from a river or lake, it should be taken at the same depth as the water intake from the pump. In this case, it is necessary to prevent bottom sediments from entering the sample.
  • In the case of a well, sampling is carried out from the middle part of the water column.

The customer is responsible for the correctness of the sample.

  • The required volume of water for analysis is at least 2-3 litres.
  • To take a sample, place the container under the tap and gently fill it with a calm stream along the wall (do not change the water pressure). Collect the sample “under the lid” so that the water overflows over the top for 1-2 minutes, otherwise the presence of air in the sample may distort the test results.
  • The water should be transported to the laboratory on the day of sampling, and it is necessary (highly desirable) to protect the sample from direct sunlight, temperature changes, and shaking. If it is not possible to deliver the sample on the same day, it should be stored in a dark place at a temperature of 4 °C.
  • The water sample must be accompanied by a questionnaire, which should include the customer, the name of the water source, the place, date and time of sampling, the purpose of the study, the name of the contact person, telephone number or e-mail.
Results of analysis

We can guarantee

  1. Individual approach and comprehensive problem solving. When ordering water treatment for steam and hot water boilers, we determine the optimal method of water treatment by analysing the chemical composition of water, define the requirements for the quality of treated water, study the materials that make up the system, and calculate the technical and economic costs associated with maintaining the water-chemical balance of the system.
  2. Reduction of operating costs.Today, the cost of water treatment for a hot water boiler is recouped within 2 years, while its service life will be much longer than 10 years with timely and proper maintenance. The optimal choice of water treatment method leads to a reduction in corrosion to standard values, which significantly increases the service life of the equipment and thus reduces capital and repair costs in the future.
  1. Fuel consumption savings. Correctly selected water treatment and water-chemical regime of the boiler allow avoiding scale formation, which keeps the efficiency at the level guaranteed by the manufacturer, i.e. fuel (energy) consumption remains constant. 1 mm of scale results in a 10% fuel overrun.
  2. Reducing emissions. A simple solution with one-stage Na-cationisation and the addition of a corrosion inhibitor and oxygen binding agent using proportional dosing pumps in automatic mode will significantly reduce operating and maintenance costs and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which is also significant in terms of environmental impact.
