OSM 801-5 is an aluminum compound with a strong positive charge, which helps to reduce the coagulant dose and the volume of sludge formed, saving the power of dosing equipment. Compared to conventional coagulants, OSM 801-5 improves the removal of suspended solids, colloids and/or organic matter without requiring pH adjustment.
When using OSM 801-5 coagulant, due to the rapid flake formation due to the pre-polymerization, the preparation will work successfully even at low temperatures. The need for alkalizing can be significantly reduced due to the low acidity.

Appropriate protective clothing and goggles must be worn when handling OSM 801-5. Store in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area. The shelf life is two years from the date of production.

The product is dosed in concentrated or diluted with softened water using a dosing pump in proportion to the amount of water to be treated. Dosing equipment should be made of corrosion-resistant plastic or stainless steel. Typical dosage is 5 – 50 g/m3 of water. The treatment can be monitored by the residual aluminum after filtration. Consultations on optimization of the water-chemical regime are provided by technical specialists of our service centers.
